Wheat, corn, oats fall on the Chicago Board of Trade, soybeans rise; pork mixed, beef slides
Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 4 cents to $5.4775 a bushel, while December corn fell 5.75 cents to $3.9775 a bushel and oats for December delivery dropped 14 cents to $2.5025 a bushel. November soybeans inched up 0.5 cent to $10.06 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures were mixed and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle traded slightly higher by 0.03 cent at 87.4 cents a pound; November feeder cattle fell 0.93 cent to 95.47 cents a pound; December lean hogs shed 0.7 cent to 53.02 cents a pound; and February pork bellies edged down 0.7 cent to 53.02 cents a pound.
