Agriculture prices rise on Chicago BOT; beef and pork futures mostly gain
Agriculture futures were higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery gained 0.5 cent to $5.375 a bushelMarch corn jumped 11.5 cents to $4.045 a bushelMarch oats rose 3 cents to $2.59 a busheland January soybeans added 8 cents to $10.35 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef and pork futures were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle jumped 1.1 cents to 83.27 cents a poundJanuary feeder cattle rose 0.86 cent to 91.57 cents a poundFebruary lean hogs were unchanged at 65.42 cents a poundand February pork bellies gained 1.05 cents to 86.10 cents a pound.
