Watercraft Rentals

Lake Powell is located in the southwestern United States, and is considered one of the most popular spots for houseboating in America. Its serene waters, coupled with stunning rock formations and scenery, make it a great travel destination for summer visitors. In addition to houseboats, Lake Powell is full of other sorts of water sports-related vehicles, such as jetskis and powerboats. You can rent a powerboat anywhere from 19 to 36 feet long, as well as non-powered watercrafts like wakeboards, kayaks, and water skis. While these latter three are of relative little cost (between $30 and $50), the powerboats may put a large dent in your budget. The smallest craft, at 19 feet, goes for $400 per day. This price does not include taxes, fuel, or other fees. Of course, if you are looking for an intensely relaxing vacation, you will rent one of Lake Powell's most famous crafts: its houseboats. Fully equipped with luxury features like air conditioning, CD stereos, propane-fueled gas grills, and queen-sized beds, these houseboats are not cheap, but are well worth the price. The houseboats range in size from 46 feet ("The Expedition") to 75 feet ("The Excursion," which comes with a hot tub and a propane fireplace).
